Flexible Wearable Electronics Advance Research

As the flexible hybrid electronic community continues to mature, there is a growing need for the development and standardization of test methods for material characterization and reliability assessment. Standardized test methods should be easy to implement, amendable for data extraction and analysis, adaptable to a wide range of materials and processing conditions, and configurable for various loading conditions.

A range of test techniques has been developed and implemented to characterize materials and assess component reliability. The developed techniques are combined as well as biaxially enhanced to mimic various usage conditions as in aerospace, automotive, healthcare, communications, security, and other applications.
